Need help to release swatch chronograph crown / stem

Recommended Posts

Hello,
I got this swatch chronograph watch from my dad and one of its pushers is gone.
I did some research on YouTube where I found some videos explain how to replace it. What I want to know is whether there is another way to release the crown / stem besides taking off the dial first or pulling it out directly with arched claw tweezers. Have any of you done using the arched claw tweezers technique? Did it work well without damaging the calibre or machine?

Meanwhile for the chronograph pusher, do I need specifically use the exact type or series? Or any kind of swatch watch chronograph pusher will work?

Your comments will be much appreciated and thank you in advance. 🙏
