Dial-washers for clocks

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I need a selection of dial washers for a few clocks I'm working on.  Looking for a heavier version of the foil washers used on watches, but cant seem to find any at the usual suppliers.  Any ideas?

not really.  These look more suited to mounting hands etc.  I'm after spring/dial washers really.  Pretty much like watch dial washers, but obviously larger, suitable for clocks.  I can make do if needed, but wondered if I was missing a seller somewhere.

Not quite sure what you mean as these are clock dial washers.

What are you trying to achieve?

The ones pictured are used mostly for securing hands to the center wheel arbour.

I know what you mean - the curved foil washers that keep the hour wheel in place. Not many clocks use them. You can buy brass foil on Ebay and make your own.

Exactly, I dont see many clocks that use them, but I have a couple of clocks in that obviously need one as the hour wheel is free to jump out of position.
