Cousins has an aluminum case with a bunch of small circular aluminum canisters with glass tops. I keep dead movements in those. Like movements together. Assembled as far as they'll go. Jewels, screws, springs, and who knows if you'll come across another of the same movement needing attention, or a forum member needing a part. -
Thanks @Jon I had a friend who fixes watches ( mainly old Seiko's ) as a hobby replace the board for me. I purchased that as new via the internet, replaced the battery etc with good quality ones. Before the board was replaced nothing worked, now if you spin the button on the side the digital works and displays various options, stop watch works etc. If you spin the button so there are no digital numbers shown and then press it in the watch starts to beep ? It was my friend who fitted the new board and battery who said it needs new capacitors. It would be nice to get it back working as its a memory thing more than anything as my Wife bought it for me about 20 odd years ago. I'm afraid i have no experience in opening up watches to get any extra info.

Sounds like corrosion has spread to mechanical elements of your watch or has ruined an electrical part. Picture only helps to identify the movement, I trust its the caliber Jon said.
