New to the hobby of watchmaking

HI.

My name is Stefan and I have for as long as I remember been fascinated and interested in watches. There is something very special with a mechanical movement. In the past I have fiddled around, swapping crystals and hands etc. Now I have decided to take the next step which is trying to go a little deeper and hopefully, some time soon, take watch movements apart, clean them and get them running again. I have tried to set up a good working space and got the most needed tools. The goal is simply to have this as a hobby and not try to do everything. I want it to be fun and stimulating, and already, after taking some seagulls apart and back together I can feel "it".

I found this forum and it seems to be the right place to be when it comes to watch repairs.

Thanks!
