Concur with hector, A kink or twist in hairspring, exactly at regulator gap can cause this, so move the regulator arm to exposed hairspring ( H/S ) there and check with high maginfication. Regulator slot not wide enough or nearly/ fully closed, the gap just limits breathing of H/S. Damaged regulator gap, a close up high maginfication of the gap helps. Is regulator arm fitted fully in the setting groove? Good luck.

if you push the button does it pushed down does it move what exactly does it do? I thought I'd look on YouTube not overly helpful but it does give a clue of what the dial site looks like and the button does look like it's in the right place? the problem with YouTube in a variety of other places would be the lack of words like 505 and the inability of the searching to actually find a 505 so there may be more videos somewhere but I'm not finding them and this one really is an super good but it's the best we have so far -
you mean like maybe a Facebook group where we could all go to? Or maybe we just form our own new message board and abandon this one before it sinks
