Balance Wheel Tool

Hi

The attached tool has recently arrived from China. I saw it on Aliexpress and thought I might as well buy it as I haven't seen one before ;). It's for holding the balance wheel instead of having to grip it in your fingers when working on it, whether suspended or otherwise. Not really needed, but I thought it was interesting and it only cost £7 - imagine what it would cost if Bergeon was stamped on it? It's a bit rough around the edges and needs a bit of work, and maybe a different handle, but I reckon it could be quite useful as it's adjustable to cover most wristwatch sizes. I'm thinking initially of using it when adjusting the hairspring collet.

No sorry, can't remember what it was called either - some sort of watch balance tool I think about £7-8.

Seen one of those on the bay recently, let me check.  Here you go, its a miniature version of the larger brother model for clocks.
