Hello, everyone!

I have an Omega DeVille (1325) watch and the dial needs some attention.

I've tried gentle cleaning with detergent, but it's almost like 'resin' and will not shift.

Does anyone know of a trusted place that  can deal with this, without charging for a holiday in the Bahamas?

Thanks.

There have been some good topics on dial cleaning on the forum. This one, for instance, might interest you as it goes into detail about other products that can be used other than detergent:

You may be lucky and find it is just the top layer lacquer that is the problem. If this could be gently removed leaving a good condition gold paint below then it would be a relatively simple step to re-lacquer; even something you could do yourself.

C&F Dial Restoration has been mentioned on the forum before and you could get a quote but inevitably nothing like this comes cheap because someone has got to be paid for the hours of labour to effect a professional restoration.
