ETA 7751 equivalent

Hi,

Can anyone help? I have a watch case that will exactly fit an ETA7751 movement but I cannot source or afford the movement. So I am on the lookout for an equivalent movement but am new to this. Can anyone advise which I should go for?

You might be able to find some sort of an asian/chinese clone for that movement.

Although I don't know whether those are basically just replicas or something actually legal.

Shanghai 3LZF2 or Seagull ST2130

Don't think the ty2130 is right for you but the 3LZF2 As mentioned by "Rogart63" is looking good. At Cousinsuk for £99.95 + vat

No, the 3LZF2 is the equivalent to the 7750 and should be appropriate.
The 2130 is equivalent to the 2824-2

I found it. However, it is based on the 7750 and not 7751. Thank you anyway.

What is the difference between a 7751 and a 7750. Is the 7751 the one that has moonphase subdials. My bad there with the 2130 . Didn't look properly .

A 3LZF19 should be a 7751 movement with moonphase.

No especially cheap movement that either. Having a hard time finding anything about shanghai movement. Cousinsuk doesn't have them.  They have Sellita. Not the SELSW500M  but i am sure they can get it for you. Have a part on order from Sellita that cousinsuk helped me find.

I found a Sellita SW500 movement on cousins website for £300 odd. Hoping that will be ok.

Isn't that a 7750 copy?  Thought you wanted a 7751?

That is the nearest I can get. Cannot seem to find an equivalent to the 7751. So it will have to do as it's doing my head in searching.
