I think 1 3 and 5 are for holding and screwing in timing screws on a balance. 2 and four I haven't come across those ends before.

I thought 4 might be for pulling cannon pinions???

4 looks like the staking stump used for removing rollers from a 2 arm balance wheel.  Maybe it's to hold a balance securely?

Perhaps! It does have a Grove on inside as well

I believe it may be a vice for holding seconds hands for broaching. The hand pipe would slide into the slot, and the hole would line up with the pipe to insert your broach.

Tool #4 is for holding pallet forks :)
