Hi all,

Lowieke (40+) from the Tri-border area in the south-east of The Netherlands, has joined the forum and say 'hi' to all.

Watches and clocks have fascinated me since I was a little boy, but I just recently started in a serious manner working on them.

Since my first watch (Junghans) was the watch my father bought for himself as a teenager in 1955, I'm focussing on this brand for now and we'll see where we go from there.

Cheers,  Lowieke.

I had a Junghans about the same time (56), it had a seperate red hand for the date. Good timekeeper but someone thought that they needed it more than I did. All good wishes friend. Regards, Mike.

Thanks Guys.

I already found some great tips here (like the one from Mark about drilling holes in the sides of your loupe, to prevent it fogging up :thumbsu:).

Cheers, Lowieke.
