Hi. I am struggling to find and video instruction showing how to remove clean lubricate and reassemble Seiko Diafix jewels. A video would be great!

Thanks

That's the hard way...

The trick with these is to free the middle tab from the retaining slot and then hinge the clip up with the two end tabs still located. The jewel can then be removed, cleaned, and replaced without the clip ever leaving the plate.

I probably haven't described this very well but if you google Seiko Diafix, or have a look here;

you will see what I mean.

Incidentally Martin's blog is an excellent read, especially if you have an interest in vintage Seiko.

reading the SCWF post, the author describes the diafix as 'fallopian' haha. Must be a gynaecologist who dabbles in watches..or vice versa?.

There are two styles of these shock springs some have three prongs some just have two. The removal is the same they just twist & release. However you need to be careful as they will eagerly fly away.

You're referring to Diashock. While Diafix is the other, hinged type.

Sorry senior moment (again)!!!!. They are the ones that you just turn to a gap & they just lever outwards. One of the simplest to work with (in my senior opinion that is :)
