In keeping with the theme, watchmakers whose name ends with "ex", I would suggest adding a vintage Timex to the rotation.

Which leads me the ponder -  What defines a collection?  One, two, more?  If you don't have any watches and go out and buy two is that a collection?  Or maybe it is the "start of a collection"?

I would say "the start of", or just 2 watches you just bought.
The Cambridge Dictionary says :
"a group of objects of one type that have been collected by one person or in one place".
If I may ... collecting is not just buying !

2 great watches and probably all you'll ever need. Sub is my favourite. I have a gmt and what I like about the sub is it's chunkier lugs.
