While browsing the internet I have come across this.

Here is a photo of a clock mainspring winder. This is the same as I had. It has different size arbors to fit the size spring that you need to remove or fit. Come in a nice case to keep it safe and altogether.  Look after it and it will last you a liftime.

It is it served me for many years. I think it cost around £30

I know I got it from Southern Watch & Clock suppliers, which were in Orpington Kent.
