Possible to add new links to old extendable strap?

Morning all,

i have inherited my great grandmothers watch and would like to have a few links added so my wife can wear it.  Is it possible to add links to this strap?  I have attached photos for your reference.

As far as I know, you cannot add links to that type.

In the shop I worked in we stocked Excalibur watch bracelets and that type the girls would measure the customers wrist. This type you can add or take links out, its easy.

You can if you could find a flexbracelet  with the same kind of links. It's easier to buy a new bracelet. Buy a nice leather for it instead.

those things are riveted together...but with enough cursing, anything is possible
