Hi going by the pictures you will have to remove the bezel and glass. The bezel needs to be lifted either with or without the glass depending on construction, I the bezel comes away without the glass you will need a tool to lift the glass to remove the movement. -

👍 i think this is true, once the back has popped off the case seam, a repairer must develop a habit of lifting the back away carefully without inserting anything sharp inside. I use a fingernail at the very edge of the back before the lip starts. -

Hi. It’s what is known as a postman’s clock, I have one on the wall not running at the moment. Some have an alarm fitted, made in Germany normally in the Black Forest region. Nice old clocks once cleaned and repaired. I believe they were also known as wag on the wall clocks and have a long pendulum wirh running gear on two chains and heavy weights. Look up on Google for “ postman’s clock”. Or wooden clocks for more detail.
